I received a book produced by Benchmark House Histories from my wife this Christmas all about our Grade 2 listed house in Berkhamsted. It was one of the best presents I have ever received as it is so personal and bespoke and something I will treasure for years to come. I love the fact that it is such an original gift and I have been showing it to so many people as I think it is just brilliant! It was so interesting to find out the history of the property and all the people who have lived here and I very much enjoyed looking at the old photos and documents relating to the house and surrounding area.
